Our Story

My name is Irina, and I am the hands behind Baking and Cakes!

Ever since I was a little girl, baking has been a source of joy and connection with loved ones. Whether baking with my grandma, or, later in life, for my own children and grandchildren, baking has been always been a source of joy, nurture, and intimate memories.

Throughout the years, my baking has become more elaborate and complex, and quite unexpectedly I've realized how something that simply brought me joy has become a source of my passion and inspiration. 

Baking and Cakes was born out of a desire to share my passion not just with my family and friends, but with other people as well. Since I enjoy every aspect of baking, be it a simple sand cookie, or creating a new and exciting flavour and texture, I am excited to bake for you!
